Harties Boat Cruises organises private outings on Hartbeespoort Dam and a separate, quiet canal option within The Islands Estate. Every charter is exclusive whole-boat hire for your group — no shared public tickets.
Two waterways, one private-boat model
We run exclusive whole-boat hire only. On the main charter, your group has the pontoon to yourselves with a skipper and onboard sound system included. The smaller electric canal craft is a separate, quieter option for 2–4 people, strictly within The Islands Estate canals — it never goes onto the main dam.
Our two skippers each have several years of hands-on navigation experience on Hartbeespoort Dam and active first aid training. We don't claim certifications we can't show, and we don't publish staff names or invented biographies.

The dam and the canals are different waterways
Both are whole-boat hire. The canal craft never enters the main dam.

Main cruise notice: at least 24 hours' advance notice for a standard charter.
Floating bar notice: normally eight days (192 hours). Shorter notice is a manual review, never a licence guarantee.
